In hot summer day with warm air blowing out of the vents when the air-conditioning system is turned on is the most uncomfortable than anything.
This is happen because the system is low on refrigerant gas and needs to be recharged or there is a leak somewhere.
There are various main components in car’s air-conditioning system, including the compressor, condenser, evaporator, cooling coil, etc…. All are connected to each other through Copper Pipes or hoses, and each of those connections have seals that can leak. When a leak occurs, refrigerant gas get out from the system, and air conditioning could not be able to produces cold air.
If enough refrigerant gas leaks out, the compressor won’t even turn on because the refrigerant contains lubricant that is needed to keep the compressor work. if leak is slow, may not require any repairs and just need to top up refrigerant gas. in some cases cooling coil also got chock up which need to be clean.
Older cars have filters which filter the air but after some time gradually dust accumulate and particulate matter on the surface of filter.
So frequently car air conditioning system need to be service for better result and Cooling.
